OUR PHILOSOPHY OF CARE

Making the decision to find an alternative to caring for a person at home can be one of the most difficult decisions a person has to make, particularly if the person with dementia has been a long-time companion.

At the Beeches we recognise and understand the problems of caring for people with Dementia at Home.Established in 1987 We have been a specialist EMI unit since 2002, and our staff are trained to cope with these problems through dementia care training giving you the peace of mind to go about your day knowing your relative is in good hands. At The Beeches It is our policy not to use sedative medication, helping to maintain the persons dignity and self respect.

The Beeches is a "Home from Home" in a friendly, secure and relaxed environment. We aim to provide you with the best possible quality of life in an environment which is clean, comfortable, safe and welcoming.
We strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of Residents and remain sensitive to your ever changing needs.
Our residents are treated as individuals and are encouraged to enjoy life at the Home and to maximise their intellectual, social and physical potential.
We recognise that a Resident's family and friends have an invaluable part to play in a Resident's well-being, and we encourage visits whenever possible.
All our staff are appropriately qualified to ensure that we deliver the highest standards of care.
Staff undergo continuous training and development of their skills and experience to ensure that we maintain these standards at all times.
